A lot to unpack here, but let's give it a go.
You probably know the origin story. Thomas and Martha Wayne got shot down by a petty thug named Joe Chill when Brucie was just a tyke. This event completely shaped him into the obsessive, brooding man we all know and love today. Vowing to be the ultimate obstacle between criminals and their crimes, Bruce adopted the aesthetic of a bat to feed off the fears of his enemies. Bruce understands and respects fear, and he figured out a way to predatorily utilize it to his advantage. With too much money and a lot of time on his hands, he dedicated his entire life training to achieve mental and physical perfection.
He's mastered martial arts, criminal psychology, and detective techniques, and his specialized gadgets and vehicles aid him in his endeavors.
The death of his parents will always be a fresh wound to Bruce. He will never allow it to heal, because healing may mean forgetting his promise.
First Impressions (Bruce): Flashy socialite with too much money on his hands. Daddy's trust fund kid. Bored playboy. Ditz. Bruce Wayne is Batman's mask. The polar opposite in terms of personality. Gotta keep up appearances, you know (but, actually, you don't know). His voice also sounds different. Unlike in the live-action films, TAS depicts Bruce Wayne being the performance rather than the other way around. He has Batman's customer service voice if you will.
